A Cutting Garden is a Garden created for the purpose of being able to bring a part of the outdoors in.  Once the flowers you have planted in your garden have come into bloom, they can be cut and used in floral arrangements with the hopes of beautifying your indoor area.   Not only will the indoor be beautiful though, if done right, there will be plenty of plants to leave the outdoor garden just as it was.  Color, size, shape, and restrictions of plants are all things that must be considered when designing your garden.

This here is a picture of a cutting garden from Cedar Point.  There is a wide variety of colors, textures, sizes, and endless possibilities for floral arrangements when cut and put together.  Now, just sit there for a second and think what your yard could look like if you were to take the time to add some plants and beds.
